Hicham Lahlou is considered as the precursor of urban industrial design in Morocco. For Daum, Hicham Lahlou has designed an Oryx.

The Oryx designed and reinterpreted by Hicham Lahlou is exalted by the Daum ‘‘pâte de cristal’’. Its emblematic shape is almost mystic, its intense amber color and golden horns take a great part in the magic of the piece arousing lots of emotion and curiosity.
